[Comics] Instant Replay

Instant replay for disputed home run calls has kicked off on 2008/08/28. Though it'll definitely help to take away some bad calls, it'll also take away the "people" factor. Good thing? Time will tell.

[Comics] King of Finesse On the Move

To me, Maddux is still the best finesse pitcher out there. Though it's a bit sad to see him leaving San Diego, I still wish him keep racking up total career wins to be only behind some guy named Cy Young (511 wins).

[Comics] Kingpin

Wang should be able to kick Woody Harrelson's and Bill Murray's asses easily in the game...

[Comics] Going Hollywood

Since being traded to the Dodgers, Manny has hit 13/23 (0.565)/7R/4HR/ 9RBI/3BB. He sure loves the California sunshine.

[Comics] Are you done yet?

Some reporter suggested Council to ice his arm. I think that's a great advice since he'd thrown that many pitches in a friggin' HOME RUN DERBY event, because Hamilton just wouldn't stop hacking the balls. (Notice the Major League spelled Council's name wrong?)

[Comics] Flawless Serves

His throws were so accurate and consistent. As much as I love Hamilton, he wouldn't be able to break Bobby Abreu's record without the old Council's stellar performance.

[Comics] Phoenix to Houston

I'm starting to believe that there's life on Mars now...

Oh My Josh

Josh Hamilton banged 28 homers over the fences of yankees stadium in the first round of 2008 Home Run Derby. Had he not got that car accident and derailment of life, Hamilton career would have been out of this world by now. Better late than never. Go Josh!!!

(And applause to Clay Council, what a generous old man with a precise arm.)

[Comics] Colorado Broncos

Colorado and Florida combined to score 79 runs during the 4-game series from July 3rd to 6th. I thought I was watching Denver Broncos playing when Holliday slammed Kensing. FOOTBALL-like SCORES!!! Despite the altitude, I wonder what Rockies put in the game balls.

[Comics] Switch Marathon

Pat Vanditte is surely one special player. His father purposely raised him as an ambidextrous player, for God's sake. I'd love to see him pitch against the likes of Jose Reyes, Mark Teixeira, Carlos Beltran and so on. And see they get into fights if the Major League don't come up with a clear rule to prevent the marathon happening all over again in the big stage.

Just throwing a joke on the Wolf brothers. The base runner must be really pissed.

Joba grabs 1st win as starter

Chamberlain has only given up like around 5 ER or something as a starter so far. I bet those people who have criticized Yankees's setup-to-start move can put on a silencer on themsleves now.

[Comics] Ichiro Shift

I saw a promotion video of Mariners long time ago, in which, the opposite team keeps sending more people onto the field to cover every inch while Ichiro is batting. Ichiro gets a hit anyway and says "Hit them where they ain't". What a guy.

[Comics] Peavy having discomfort during the stress test

For some reasons, the "stress test" which I know nothing about, just gives the crazy image.

King hits granny, and leaves the game hurt in the 5th

Hernandez's opposite-field shot to right-center was the first home run by a pitcher in Mariners history, and the first slam by an AL hurler since Cleveland's Steve Dunning went deep against Oakland's Diego Segui on May 11, 1971, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

I really really wonder what Johan Santana was thinking after giving up the slam. Santana giving up slam to King at Shea? What are the odds!

[Comics] Halladay, fantasy baseball players' nightmare

Halladay. A tough guy. I actually like him a lot, but he's never been a good fantasy player.
Comics: Jelly

Beginning

I am a MLB fan. Huge fan. I'm kind of like a walking zombie during the off season.

This will be the place for showing my passion, posting some casual thoughts, and displying some funny baseball comics drawn by my colleague - Jelly - with my genuine ideas.
